“Dip Bandz” better known as the Big Drippy Dude is the 1st L-Town artist representing the heart of Laurel.  The part of town you won’t see on the Hometown show, ducked off in the trenches of the 1600 Block of the Queensburg projects, where dreams get chased by any means necessary. Dip plans to break the cycle with the whole hood behind him.  He enjoys making music, putting on the “drip” and he does very well with both! Since a child he has had a love for music–growing up he would see the other boys in the hood rapping out in the halls, so he decided to give it a try himself.  Before long people in the hood would give him dollar bills just to hear him rap! 

Some of Dips biggest influences are Guccimane, Future, Kodak, Rylo Rodriquez, NBA YoungBoy, Doe B and Bankroll Fresh. Dip, now at 28 years old, puts his heart on every track and speaks nothing but the truth. And no matter what he’s gonna give you that ‘bop’ you’re looking for regardless of the vibe!
